Fluminense Football Club won the first leg of the Carioca Sub-15 quarterfinals, defeating Volta Redonda 4-0. The victory, built with goals from Kaique Deivid, Samuell Esperancin (two) and Caio Antelo, keeps the club as the only undefeated team in the competition. The team, led by coach Dalmo Gimenes, will return to the field on the next day 13 (Saturday), when the classification will be decided, at 14h45, at the Estádio Marcelo Vieira, in Xerém. The team's youth team, which has won four titles in 2024 and 2025, took the lead at 12 minutes, when Kaique Deivid scored. In the added time, the top scorer Samuell converted the penalty he himself suffered. In the second half, the thrashing came in a three-minute interval. At four, Caio Antelo hit the left with category, while the same Samuell widened with a cannon shot in the right angle, after having taken the marker to dance. The eighth goal takes the center forward to the top of the tournament's scoring table.
