Fluminense Football Club has renewed negotiations for the signing of defender Nino and presented a new proposal to Zenit in recent days. After a failed attempt in the last transfer window, the Rio de Janeiro-based club resumed talks and sees with optimism the possibility of concretizing the return of the defender. The information was initially published by the Canal Jornada KTO 1902. On the previous occasion, Zenit chose not to release the player due to the Russian Championship dispute. With the conclusion of the competition, the scenario has changed and there is an expectation that the negotiations will advance in a more positive way. Nino is treated as one of the priorities of the board for the remainder of the season. The defender left Fluminense in January 2024, after winning the Libertadores for the club, becoming one of the main recent idols of the Tricolor fan base.
